The mission of the Scott - Le Sueur Waterfowlers is to conserve and enhance waterfowl populations and their habitats through stewardship, public education, and community-driven conservation efforts with an emphasis of involving youth in our work.
Habitat
Protect, restore, and manage vital wetlands, riparian zones, and upland nesting habitats to support sustainable waterfowl populations and biodiversity.
Research & Monitoring
Conduct and support research to better understand waterfowl ecology, migration patterns, and population dynamics, using data to guide effective conservation strategies.
Education & Advocacy
Promote public awareness, engage communities, and advocate for policies that support wetland conservation and responsible land use to ensure long-term protection of waterfowl and their ecosystems.
